An impactful businessperson & CXO search consultant, Priya Chetty-Rajagopal has just set up a leadership advisory firm representing a paradigm shift in executive search, after her stint as Board Member & Executive Director- Leadership & Board Practice, RGF Executive Search. She joined Stanton Chase India brand in 2004 which was acquired by Recruit Holding Co. Ltd (RGF) in 2014. Her initial agenda as Vice President and Head of Corporate Practice was to apply a non-IT search focus in a completely IT-oriented city. Active in Global Marketing and Business Excellence Groups in Stanton Chase, she headed its Global Diversity Practice that she enabled set up. She has successfully led cross border CXO level search assignments for a diverse selection of companies. Prior to Executive Search, Priya worked for over 19 years in the service industry covering credit cards with Diners Club, and business centers with Diners Business Services (DBS) where she interacted with hundreds of the top corporates and multinational companies setting-up in India at the time. She has also provided thought leadership, high brand recall, and strategic impetus to the group. A National Merit & Chevening Scholar, Priya holds a Bachelor of Arts, as well as PG degrees in Marketing & in PR. Priya was nominated Femina Woman of the Year 2017, conferred the Indira Gandhi Priyadarshini Award for Excellence in 1997, recognized by the Guild of Women Achievers in 2000, and selected by the British Government for the Chevening Scholarship in 2004. Active in various business fora, Priya was Chairperson of the Indo American Chamber of Commerce (IACC), Karnataka as well as a Board Member of IACC from 2007. In addition to being the Founder-Chair of the IACC’s Women’s Business Council, Convener of the CII Women’s Business Leadership Forum for over 4 years till 2011, and a TiE Charter Member, Priya serves on the Advisory Council of Common Purpose, India, & was on the Asia Pacific Council of the AESC till Oct 2017.
